This year, across the country, and indeed the world, we will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. This is an event we are unlikely to see again in our lifetime. What better time to find out a little more about the British monarch!
I couldn’t possibly let the occasion pass by without writing a Scavenger Hunt to include in our celebrations. Our family loves a Scavenger Hunt and we have used them to celebrate all kinds of events. (You can find all the Tired But Crafty Mummy Scavenger Hunts here)
This Scavenger Hunt has a bit of a twist. Rather than just having a list of clues which you need to look for, this hunt has facts about the Queen and then you will need to find an object relating to each fact so hopefully by the end you’ll know all about Queen Elizabeth II.
As always, there are no rules on how to complete the Scavenger Hunt. You can do it however best suits you family. The most important thing is having lots of fun together. You could award prizes for the best items relating to the clues. I always like to encourage some out of the box thinking and love it when an item has a very tenuous link to the clue!
The Scavenger Hunt can be downloaded and printed off for free. You can find it here:

If you have a go at the Platinum Jubilee Scavenger Hunt, I’d love to see, if it’s safe to do so.
