Easter Bunny Bookmark

We are blessed to have a household filled with bookworms.  If you have a child who is the same, the Easter Bunny can help ensure they never lose where they got to again.  This handy Easter Bunny Bookmark sits on the corner of the page to save your place.  Best of all he is very easy to make.

You will need:
White A4 Paper
Pens or Crayons
Scissors
Glue
Googly Eyes

IMG_56811.) First fold the corner of the paper over to the edge so you can make a square of paper.

IMG_56822.) Cut off the rectangle end but keep it safe as you will use it later

IMG_56833.) Fold the triangle in half again so you have a smaller triangle

IMG_56844.) Open your triangle back out and fold the top layer so the point touches the top.

IMG_56855. Bring one of the top corners down so it touches the bottom corner and fold along the crease.

6. Then tuck it under the little triangle you formed earlier.

7.) Repeat steps 5 and 6 with the other side.  The main part of your bookmark is now complete.

IMG_56888.) Using the offcut of paper, draw the bunny’s cheeks and teeth.  Then cut these out.

IMG_56899.) Fold the paper and draw an ear shape. Cut out your ear and you should end up with two matching ears.

IMG_569010. Now add detail to these such as pink middles for the ears and a nose and whiskers on the cheeks.

IMG_569111.) Glue just the top of the cheeks and stick them onto the bookmark. (Remember not to glue all of the cheeks otherwise your bookmark won’t open.  Glue the ears to the back of the bookmark and add some googly eyes.  You could also draw on the eyes.
